ISLAND TALES: Legend of Sirena

Pencils, Inks, Colors, & Letters by Me.
Scroll down for more info on the series and more art!

These are the 3 pages I'm pencilling, inking, coloring, and lettering tonight. I'll update this post as I go for this edition of #OnTheDesk for Twitter. I'll also update as I go on the full length of the project.

Island Tales is a comic anthology based on folklore and mythology from the Pacific. Some stories are adapted from traditional stories while others are modern retellings of the classics.

Created by our great friend Stephen Smirl. He's a genius and one of the nicest guys in the universe! Written by my frenemy Jeremy Fiest he ai'ight.

I pencil, ink, color, and letter digitally in Photoshop CS5 with an Axiotron Modbook (Apple Tablet Computer)

You can also see Island Tales work by my wife, Renae, and I. She pencils 'Pono Loa' and I ink and color.

I will be doing a ton of work for Island Tales, so stay tuned for more! And please spread the word! Let your comic shop know, share it on your social networks. Help us make this something special! Thank you!!

Thanks for looking!

One night! That would take me weeks.

BTW, I really like your coloring style. Do you have any tutorials?

MONSTERBLUES: Thank you very much. I don't have any tutorials really (need to get on that) but I do have some sped up painting and coloring videos online.

Be sure to follow/bookmark. I definitely do plan to make some tutorials as life settles a bit.

JEREMY: Some loser named Germy Feast. Hate that guy.

Cool, thanks for the links. I'll check them out. I'm working on my drawing skills, and my coloring skills are non-existent.
